Justin Jefferson to Miss 4-6 Weeks 📅

Plus, Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed are out – can the Eagles receivers come through?

All of the most important fantasy news over the last 24 hours – all in one place.

  • Vikings WR Justin Jefferson receives initial timeline for hamstring injury of 4-6 weeks

    • Jefferson was placed on injured reserve this week, so it was understood before he was given this timeline that he would be missing at least four weeks. However, it looks like Jefferson could be slated to miss more game action after he’s officially eligible to be activated off of IR, with a worst-case scenario of six weeks. The timeline is right in line with what we’ve been anticipating for Jefferson since he went down last week against the Chiefs, but this report offers a concrete look at the potential amount of time he could miss. Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn, and T.J Hockenson all stand to see a boost.

  • Jets CBs Sauce Gardner, D.J. Reed out Sunday vs. Eagles

    • What at first glance looked like a tough matchup for A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith against the Jets has become a favorable situation very quickly. With Reed already missing the game with a concussion and Sauce Gardner joining him in not playing, the Eagles receivers could feast in a game they should win quite handily. There’s always the chance that things get out of hand for the Jets early and the Eagles just run the entire second half out (remember against the Buccaneers?), but Brown and Smith will most likely be the ones scoring the points if the Eagles want to build a big lead early. After three straight quiet games in a row, this could be the week we start to see Devonta Smith get back on track for fantasy football.
