LaPorta is Good to Go for Week 6! šŸ¦

Plus, D'Onta Foreman is a solid streamer against the Vikings ā€“ and Tee Higgins is a game time decision

All of the most important fantasy news over the last 24 hours ā€“ all in one place.

  • Lions TE Sam LaPorta says that he expects to play Sunday vs. Buccaneers

    • Despite a surprise appearance on the Lionsā€™ injury report in the middle of the week with a calf injury, the man himself spoke to reporters and said that heā€™ll be taking the field with the rest of the team this weekend. LaPorta avoids any significant injury this week and moving forward, and barring any setbacks, should be expected to produce at his usual high level in the Lions offense. Heā€™ll be a weekly top-5 start as long as he continues to see target shares in the neighborhood of what heā€™s been getting so far this season. Keep an eye on injury reports throughout the weekend to make sure heā€™s good to go ā€“ he is carrying the questionable tag into game time, after all.

  • Bears RB Khalil Herbert placed on IR, Roschon Johnson slated to miss Week 6 vs Vikings

    • While there was initially hope that Johnson would be ready to go for this weekā€™s game against Minnesota, that didnā€™t come to fruition on the injury report and the rookie will miss Week 6. That being said, Dā€™Onta Foreman looks like a quality flex play with RB2 upside this week ā€“ but his usefulness is likely to last only as long as Johnson is out of the lineup. Assuming Johnson returns next week from his concussion, heā€™ll be in line to take the reigns in the Bears backfield as long as Herbert is out. The Bears have passed the ball with much more success over the past two weeks than they had in the beginning of the year, so thereā€™s a chance that whoever is handling the bulk of the work in Chicagoā€™s backfield will have a limited ceiling regardless. Foreman projects to be an ideal streamer at the position this week, but Johnson is still the player to add.

  • Bengals WR Tee Higgins expected to be game-time decision Sunday vs Seahawks

    • Game-time decisions donā€™t usually imply that someone will play, but Higgins was able to log a full practice on Friday - which suggests that heā€™s got a fair shot at suiting up this weekend. If he does play, heā€™ll be stepping into a league-best matchup against the Seahawks in terms of fantasy points allowed to wide receivers, so make sure heā€™s in your lineup if heā€™s active. On the off chance that he misses Week 6, Jaā€™Marr Chase will likely see a slight upgrade - but heā€™s going to get it done for you in this matchup anyway. Higgins has had a very quiet season so far besides his Week 2 explosion against Baltimore, but heā€™s got a shot to turn things around this weekend.
