Nope - Brian Robinson will NOT be playing this weekend ❌
It'll be the Antonio Gibson show in Week 15 – and we'll see what happens with Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane 🤷♂️
All of the most important fantasy news over the last 24 hours – all in one place.
Dolphins playmakers Devon Achane, Tyreek Hill both questionable heading into Sunday’s matchup vs Jets
Just what we all wanted to do on the weekend before Christmas: wait desperately for any semblance of an indication about whether our Dolphins star players will, in fact, take the field against the Jets. The good news first: De’Von Achane practiced yesterday in a limited fashion, so he should at least have a chance to play against the Jets after originally having his status designated as an oh-so-clear ‘unkown’ on Thursday. As for Tyreek Hill, he was unable to practice at all during the week and he’s currently on the wrong side of questionable as of today. Stay tuned for any further developments on either player - if Tyreek Hill would miss, Tua could be in for a long game against a Jets defense that held him in check even with Tyreek Hill in the lineup. If Achane doesn’t go, Raheem Mostert will almost certainly be a top-8 option this week.
Commanders RB Brian Robinson expected to miss Week 15 vs Rams with hamstring injury
Robinson was ruled out during the day yesterday after being unable to practice at all on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. While there was originally optimism that the Alabama product would be able to take the field coming off the Commanders’ bye in Week 14, things don’t seem to have panned out in his favor and he’ll be forced to set his sights on Week 16 for a potential return. While he’s out, Antonio Gibson becomes a perfectly serviceable RB2 play in a matchup against the Rams that could easily have a lot of points scored in it. While Chris Rodriguez could have a chance to vulture some snaps from Gibson, he won’t have a high enough utilization to make him worth consideration in your starting lineup this week. The hope is for Robinson to finally take the practice field early next week and be good to go for Week 18.
