Your roundup of everything you need to know regarding injuries around the league going into Week 11:
RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) - At long last, Hampton looks set to make his return to action after spending the past seven games out of the lineup with his ankle injury. The last time we saw Hampton, he had a stranglehold on the Chargers backfield: he averaged over 20 opportunities and 26.2 points per game from Weeks 4-5 before going down with the aforementioned injury in Week 6. He’ll re-enter a backfield that’s been dominated by Kimani Vidal in his absence. There’s a chance that the Chargers ease him back into his full workload, so temper expectations going into a relatively tough matchup against the Eagles – but that being said, he could prove to be a difference maker down the stretch and through the fantasy playoffs.
RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (hip) - Looks like it was a false alarm against the Patriots on Monday night. After being carted off with an apparent injury late in the game, it looked like it was going to be Devin Singletary SZN for the rest of the year… but Tracy has since spoken out and clarified that he’s fine and dealing with only a hip contusion heading into New York’s Week 14 bye. The timing gives Tracy two weeks of rest to recover and get ready to play in Week 15, which – barring any unforeseen setbacks – should be more than enough for him to be back at 100%. Singletary is still worth a pickup in the event that Tracy is limited in any fashion, but he’s not the high-priority addition he looked to be coming into the week.
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (low-ankle sprain) - St. Brown is reportedly a game-time decision for Thursday night’s matchup against the Cowboys, but after missing practice both Monday and Tuesday, he’s likely on the wrong side of questionable heading into it. This is the same injury that held St. Brown out of nearly the entire game on Thanksgiving against the Packers, and with the date with the Cowboys being the only game on the schedule between now and December 14 against the Rams, the Lions could opt to play the long game and not force St. Brown back into the lineup earlier than necessary. If St. Brown is out, Jameson Williams will be in line as a WR1 start in a strong matchup vs the Cowboys defense, while Isaac TeSlaa becomes a worthwhile streamer after logging a 94% route participation last week in relief of the Lions star WR.
Justin Herbert (hand) - Herbert came out and reiterated to the media immediately after last week’s win vs the Raiders that he intends to play against the Eagles on Monday night despite requiring surgery to repair his non-throwing hand. It’s reportedly just a matter of pain tolerance at this point for Herbert, who was able to return to and finish the game last week after missing a brief sequence of plays. If Herbert can’t play, all Chargers pass catchers would receive downgrades effective immediately with Trey Lance at the helm, while Lance would be worth a look as a potential desperate streamer given his rushing upside.
QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) - Another week, another uncertain report about the status of Jayden Daniels heading into the week. For what it’s worth, the Commanders played about as well as anyone could have expected them to on Sunday night against the Broncos with Marcus Mario’TAH’ at the helm – in that sense, the Commanders aren’t ‘missing’ Daniels since they’re well out of the hunt for the playoffs with five games to go. However, for those who have Daniels and are hoping to get him back for a playoff boost (or to rescue them from losing their toilet bowl), clarity will be a dish that is best served eventually. Mariota is worth a look as a potential streamer given the success he had last week against a stout Broncos defense.
WR Drake London (knee) - HC Raheem Morris said that London will ‘have a chance to play’ against the Seahawks this week after missing the last two games with a PCL sprain he picked up the same week QB MIchael Penix partially tore his ACL. It’s a step in the right direction, but the proof will be in the practice reports leading up to the game this week. If London isn’t able to go, Kyle Pitts would be the only startable pass catcher for Atlanta, while Darnell Mooney and David Sills would be extreme last resort options for teams short on healthy players for this week.
WR Tee Higgins (concussion) - Higgins missed Joe Burrow’s return in Week 13 against the Ravens on Thanksgiving and has yet to clear the league’s concussion protocol going into Week 14. Neither of Andre Iosivas or Mitchell Tinsley were able to make a considerable impact given the opportunity to do so with Higgins out of the lineup, and the expectation should be that the offense could return to its 2024 level of productivity once Higgins is back in the lineup with his starting QB. Ja’Marr is, of course, the top option for both Burrow and fantasy managers, but Higgins would instantly enter the WR2 conversation with Burrow back in the lineup. If Higgins can’t clear in time, Andre Iosivas and Mitchell Tinsley would both be flex options against the Bills.
RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) - considered day-to-day Jones went down with an injury and didn’t return in the second half of Sunday’s murder at the hands of the Seahawks. Given the state of the Vikings QB room, it’s hard to project much scoring equity for anyone in the backfield, but Jones is considered day-to-day, which should mean he has a chance to play in Week 14 against the Commanders. If he can’t go, Jordan Mason would be RB2 play with upside against a Commanders defense that just surrendered two TDs to R.J. Harvey on Sunday night. If Jones does go, don’t rule out a potential split if Jones is less than 100% – he’d be an RB3 play.

What’s going on with Lamar Jackson? Is Chuba Hubbard about to reclaim his job as the Panthers RB1? Faraz breaks down everything you need to know about this past weekend’s action and projects ahead!

What on Earth is going on with Lamar Jackson?
This was supposed to be Lamar Jackson’s get-right matchup against the abysmal Bengals defense, but instead, it turned into his third-straight finish outside the top-24. Lamar has zero touchdowns over the last three games, and the hope is he can change that these next two games in great matchups against PIT and CIN (again). He’ll get right eventually, but if you have a hotter QB right now (Dak, Brissett, etc), you might want to roll with them over Lamar in Week 14. The Ravens pass catchers have been off, as well, but should get right once Lamar is straight.
Chuba Hubbard gaining ground back on Rico Dowdle?
In one of the surprises of the afternoon, Hubbard handled a majority of the snaps (58%) in the Panthers backfield and earned just one less opportunity (19-20) than Rico Dowdle against the Rams. Carolina seems to be making an effort to have both backs involved after a few weeks of Rico being the guy in the backfield, and going into the bye, it’ll be interesting to see if this type of utilization sticks for both RBs moving forward. Hubbard’s long receiving touchdown planted him as the overall RB5 this past week – all may not be lost just yet for Hubbard, especially with Dowdle’s efficiency coming back to Earth since those two back-to-back 200-yard games.
Adonai Mitchell puts it all together in matchup made for him
We called it in our start/sits post for this past weekend that Mitchell matched up well against the Falcons’ single-high coverage, and he wound up coming through as the Jets best receiver by far with 8 grabs on 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. In three games with the Jets, Mitchell has posted a 30% target share and account for 63% of the Jets’ air yards while flashing the talent that led the Colts to draft him in the second round just two years ago. John Metchie posted a 27% target share of his own, but earned just a 15% air yards chase and caught just four passes for 19 yards. Mitchell needs to be added in any league where he’s still available.
The Vikings are stranded at sea at quarterback
It turns out that Justin Jefferson and Kevin O’Connell’s system aren’t QB-proof after all, with Max Brosmer turning in an abomination of a four-interception performance that had fantasy managers longing for J.J. McCarthy to be back – and that’s saying something. The QB situation in Minnesota could be declared a national emergency at this point, especially for Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison managers, who have watched both receivers bottom all the way out over the past four weeks. Minnesota has an excellent schedule the next four games, but it may all be for naught if the Vikings can’t get serviceable QB play soon.
Ashton Jeanty’s been one of the top RBs when it comes to… catching the ball?
With five games to go in his rookie season, Jeanty’s bread and butter has been in… the receiving game? Even with OC change from Chip Kelly to Greg Olson, Jeanty has had at least 5 targets in each of the past five games and at least 8 targets in each of the last three. That’s buoyed him to three top-15 finishes since the Raiders’ bye and kept his fantasy managers above water with 12+ PPR points in four of his last five games. That being said, Jeanty has difficult matchups on deck with Denver, Philly, and Houston over the next three games – but if this usage in the pass game holds, he could stick around in the RB2 conversation in full PPR formats.
