Your roundup of everything you need to know regarding injuries around the league going into Week 11:

  • WR Garrett Wilson (knee sprain) - The immediate timetable offered for Wilson’s recovery is 3-4 weeks – a disappointing development considering Wilson was making his return from a separate two-game, three-week absence in Week 10 against the Browns. With his new injury, he’ll be out for the foreseeable future once again while the Jets and their passing offense are left to flail without him â€“ QB Justin Fields threw for just 54 yards on the afternoon this past Sunday. It’s advisable to steer clear of the Jets passing attack altogether, but TE Mason Taylor could step in some relevance if NY is able to get back on top of the p’s and q’s of their aerial attack.

  • TE Oronde Gadsden (quad bruise) - Big sigh of relief for Gadsden managers who watched the athletic tight end check out of Sunday night’s game with an ominous knee injury. It’s been revealed that Gadsden is just day-to-day, and there’s a chance as of right now that he’s able to suit up this weekend for the Chargers final game before their Week 12 bye against the Jaguars. That being said, monitor Gadsden’s status closely as the Chargers could be inclined to give him two full weeks of rest between this week and next week’s bye. If Gadsden would miss, expect Quentin Johnston, Ladd McConkey, and co. to see boosts, the first of whom led the team in targets in Week 10.

  • RB Bucky Irving (shoulder) - Another week, another non-update on fantasy football’s favorite (or at this point, former favorite) running back. The Buccaneers continue to hold details close to the vest regarding Irving’s status, but it appears that whatever ankle injury was ailing him could be in the rearview at this point. It’s simply a waiting game now for his managers, and in the meantime, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker will continue to benefit from his absence. Tucker has come on as of late in the early down role and could have some standalone value if the Bucs offense gets clicking and he’s able to continue earning those looks, but White remains the preferred play until Bucky is back thanks to his chops in the receiving game.

  • TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) - Kincaid has alternated top-10 and sub top-15 finishes every week this season, making him one of the more predictably unpredictable fantasy tight ends this season. Nevertheless, this year’s TE9 in cumulative points scored is dealing with a hamstring injury after pulling up lame in the Bills’ Week 10 loss to the Dolphins. Should Kincaid miss time moving forward, Dawson Knox would be worth a look off the waiver wire – he saw his route participation jump to 59% in relief of Kincaid, and could see it climb even higher in a full game without the top tight end on Buffalo’s depth chart in action.

  • RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) - HC Andy Reid reiterated this week that Isiah Pacheco ‘may take more time’ beyond the team’s bye in Week 10 to return to the lineup as he works through a knee injury. The hope was always that Pacheco would simply miss the one game he did back in Week 9 after sustaining the injury in Week 8 and be ready to go for the Chiefs’ matchup against the Broncos on Sunday, but it doesn’t sound like things are trending that way at this point in the week. Things can always change, but we could very well be staring down the barrel of another start for Kareem Hunt. Hunt would be a TD-dependent fringe RB2 play in Week 11 against the Broncos’ stout defense with upside considering how well the Chiefs’ offense has been operating as of late.

  • WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) - 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said that he’s ‘hopeful’ for Pearsall to return to practice this week after spending the last six games out of the lineup with a knee injury. As well as Mac Jones has played in relief of QB Brock Purdy, it’s no question that the San Fran offense is missing it’s top weapons – those including the aforementioned Pearsall and WR Brandon Aiyuk, who still has no concrete timetable to return, either. If Pearsall remains out, Jennings would continue to be a perfectly startable in Week 11 against the Cardinals as a WR3, while George Kittle would once again rank as a viable fantasy TE1.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (turf toe) reportedly targeting a return to action around Week 13, ‘Thanksgiving-ish’, per Jay Glazer

  • It’s far from a concrete return timeline for the Bengals QB, but the very fact that it’s already being discussed is a triumph in and of itself for both Burrow and his fantasy managers. Of course, the state of the Bengals when it comes to their playoff candidacy will be a significant factor in determining if and how early Burrow returns – but that’s an issue only for fantasy managers who are counting on Burrow’s return to help propel them to the fantasy playoffs. After a few dismal weeks with Jake Browning under center and all hope appearing to have been lost for Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Chase Brown owners, Cincinnati went out and swung a deal to acquire Joe Flacco, and his arrival has brought them all they way back from the brink to once again be mainstays at the top of their respective fantasy positions. Regardless of which Joe is under center for the Bengals, they’ll be in good hands when it comes to fantasy production. But given the current state of the Bengals defense and their 3-6 record, it might be too late by the time Joe Burrow is ready to for it to make sense to put him back out in harms way in what’s likely to be a lost season at that point. On the off chance the Bengals are relevant once he’s ready to get back into the action, however, Burrow should be rostered in all leagues where he fell off the ends of benches and onto the waiver wire in anticipation of his return.

Jaguars rookie WR Travis Hunter undergoes season-ending surgery to repair LCL, set to miss rest of 2025

  • The news of the procedure was a swift kick in the nuts late Tuesday afternoon, as the two-way star’s freshman campaign in the NFL comes to an unceremonious close after just seven games. Hunter originally went down with a non-contact injury during practice in late October and was immediately placed on short-term IR coming out of the Jaguars’ bye in Week 8, but further evaluation apparently concluded that season-ending surgery was the best course of action in the long term. Hunter finishes his rookie year with just one top-10 fantasy finish after a disappointing start to the season filled with trouble for all Jaguars pass catchers overall. With Hunter out, the slot role he occupied will now be manned by Parker Washington, who has found success in that spot with Trevor Lawrence and has had a productive two games filling in to this point. With his role secured there, he’s looking like a safe WR3 the rest of the way with upside without the threat of Hunter’s return looming over him. Receivers like Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers, as well, earn some positive bumps in their respective outlooks, with the trade for Meyers in hindsight looking like the team tipping its hand at the idea that Hunter’s injury was more serious than originally let on. Hunter’s dynasty stock remains intact despite the injury, as it was reportedly just the LCL that was injured – and of course, we’re hoping for a speedy recovery and return to action in full for the 2026 season.

Injuries happen, and bye weeks are in full swing. How are you going to tackle them to make sure you don’t stumble on your way to the fantasy playoffs?

Dan Campbell was in his bag, and TreVeyon Henderson proved last week wasn’t a fluke… Faraz breaks down everything you need to know about this past weekend’s action and projects ahead!

  1. Woody Marks finally THE guy in Houston?

    • It might be real at this point - Woody Marks might be the guy in Houston. The fact that Marks started the game and was the guy for the Texans early tells us a lot, given the fact that we’ve mainly seen Marks make his mark as a result of negative game scripts. That wasn’t the case in this one; he was the guy throughout, playing on a whopping 80% of snaps. If this role sticks, we’re looking at a very valuable three-down RB.

  2. TreVeyon Henderson shows what he’s made of

    • There he goes. That’s what we’ve been waiting to see. Two HUGE explosive TD runs on some really great underlying utilization. Henderson took his 14 carries for 147 yards and 2 TDs on 84% of snaps. He only had one target, but he ran a route on 70% of Drake Maye’s dropbacks, which is an elite number. The Patriots are on a short week, and with Rhamondre Stevenson not practicing all week prior to this game, there’s a good chance he misses once again, leaving Henderson as a must-start if that happens. It’s worth noting that Terrell Jennings was the primary ball carrier to start the game, but he left the game with an injury.

  3. Bears offense reverts to previous version

    • D’Andre Swift led the Bears backfield, out-carrying Kyle Monangai 13-7, and he also out-rushed him 80 to 63. Both were relatively productive against a very vulnerable Giants rush defense and they split goal line snaps, but Swift was the one heavily utilized in the receiving game with 8 targets. Swift is back as an every-week solid RB2 while Monangai is more of a RB3/flex. Rome Odunze also bounced back from his goose egg, catching 6 balls for 86 yards and a TD on 10 targets (28% target share), easily leading the team. And with Cole Kmet’s return, he and Colston Loveland split routes 19 - 23, respectively, on Caleb Williams’ 41 dropbacks, which means neither can be depended on in these part time roles.

  4. Trey McBride is on fire with Jacoby Brissett

    • Another monster game from McBride with Brissett at QB; 9 catches for 127 yards and a TD on a team-leading 13 targets. He also had a TD earlier that got called back for a penalty. Over the last five weeks since Brissett took over, only 8 players (including QBs) have averaged more fantasy points/game than McBride. Marvin Harrison Jr had 12 targets and a TD, but only came down with 3 catches. Emari Demercado was 2nd behind McBride in receiving yards (104 total yards on 7 touches), and it’s worth noting that Bam Knight left the game with an injury. Michael Carter stepped up into Knight’s role, but Demercado would be my preferred play if Trey Benson isn’t back.

Dan Campbell was in his bag as new playcaller

    • The Lions offense was humming against the Commanders (I mean, yes, it was the Commanders), but Campbell has taken control of the offense’s play calling duties from OC John Morton. We saw more of a split backfield (15 carries for both Gibbs and Montgomery), we saw Gibbs go for 172 yards and 3 TDs, and we saw Jameson Williams catch 6 of 7 for 119 yards and a TD. A few weeks ago, Morton publicly said that he failed Jameson Williams, and took some accountability there. With Campbell now calling plays, we could see a better rest of season for Williams and the entire offense… which is crazy to say given they were 2nd in the NFL with 29.9 points per game coming into Week 10.
