Will Kadarius Toney Ever Be 100% Healthy? 🤕
He's questionable for this weekend's game – and Kenny Gainwell is ready to make his return to Philly's backfield!
All of the most important fantasy news over the last 24 hours – all in one place.
Eagles RB Kenneth Gainwell set to return to starting lineup Monday against Buccaneers
After watching D’Andre Swift tear it up in his absence in Week 2, Gainwell will look to reprise his role as the top volume earner in the Eagles offense. While there’s no doubt that we’ll see Gainwell handle a significant amount of work himself, it remains to be seen whether or not Swift’s gaudy numbers against the vikings have earned him more time on the field. At any rate, both players profile as FLEX candidates with RB3 upside – but it could be worth keeping an eye on the snap share and usage that both RBs get during the game.
Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney officially listed as questionable heading into Week 3 matchup vs Bears
In other unrelated news: the sky is blue. Toney just seems to be incapable of shaking injury designations, and this week is no different. There’s a chance that Toney doesn’t go on Sunday against the Bears, which on paper is an excellent matchup with few real targets outside of Travis Kelce in the Chiefs offense. It’s worth noting, though, that no Chiefs WR has seen utilization or production anywhere close to high enough to warrant being started in fantasy lineups, so tread lightly with Toney even if he is able to overcome his questionable tag and suit up this weekend.
